I work at Nelson Marlborough District Health Board as the Stomal Therapist and Wound Care Nurse, and am based with the District Nurses. I work both in the hospital and the community, seeing patients pre and post op for stomas, as well as seeing patients on wound care. At District Nursing, we have set up a Wound Clinic, as well as an Ulcer Clinic and both are running well. Cushla Arnot and myself have just started in 2005 as NZWCS Area Coordinators and have had a good response to the Area meeting evenings. I enjoy gardening, and am currently practising Tai Chi after giving up Karate.
