Conference 2009

New Zealand Wound Care Society Conference
Napier War Memorial Conference Centre May 14–16, 2009
On behalf of the Organising Committee I would like to thank everyone who made our 2009 National Conference a success! We had great support from our sponsors and exhibitors, who are so vital in making any event like this possible.
The speakers were fantastic - being educational and entertaining at the same time is hard to achieve, but they all made a great effort to keep everyone's attention!
Staff at the Napier War Memorial Conference Centre were very helpful, and of course Ali and Adrienne from akB Limited, ably assisted by our own Administrator Jeanette, made sure the whole event ran smoothly - who would have known the marquee almost burned down!
My personal thanks go to the Organising Committee for working so hard to ensure the conference was a success by developing an excellent programme, trade exhibition and social events.
Lastly, many thanks to all the delegates (over 320) who made their way to the Hawke's Bay to join us for the conference, you of course make the event happen! It was great to see old friends and meet new ones, especially at the conference dinner, which was a tremendous success with almost all delegates getting into the Art Deco theme - what-ho old chap!
All the best
