 Keynote Speakers

Professor Keith Harding CBE FRCGP FRCP FRCS FLSW - appointed as the first Director of the Wound Healing Research Unit in 1991.  From 2011 – 2013 he was Director of TIME Institute (Translation, Innovation, Methodology and Engagement) and Head of Wound Healing Research Unit, School of Medicine, Cardiff University and Clinical Lead for Wound Healing in the Cardiff & Vale NHS Trust.  His clinical practice is exclusively focused on treating patients with wound healing problems with a wide range of aetiologies. He holds external professorial appointments at universities in the UK and Australia. He has authored over 350 publications in the field of wound healing and has written several chapters and books in this area. 

Wendy White BEd RN MRCNA - Wendy is a Director, Educator & Advanced Practice Nurse (Wendy White WoundCare)based in New South Wales (NSW), Australia. She has over 25 years of experience in the speciality. In 2017, Wendy White Wound Care celebrates 10 years of quality, educational, clinical and support service provision in the local, national and international arenas. Her vision is to positively change perspectives of the person living with a wound, the healthcare professional (family or carer) and the organisations responsible for providing their care.
There will also be distinguished local and national invited speakers presenting at the conference.
