Emma Hall, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Wound Care at Whanganui DHB, New Zealand and a NZWCS member.
Emma holds a Master of Nursing with First Class Honours and is a Designated Nurse Prescriber in Specialty Practice. She is an ALERT-accredited Lymphoedema Therapist, leads the High Risk Foot Clinic, and practices across vascular and complex wound specialties.
A respected national educator, Emma is recognised for her advanced clinical expertise in the management of complex wounds and her special focus on antimicrobial stewardship. Her work integrates evidence-based practice with practical clinical application, equipping clinicians with the knowledge and confidence to deliver safe, high-quality, and innovative wound care.

ALERT Lower Limb Compression Bandaging Competency Workshop

Full Day Competency Workshop 9.00am - 4.00pm
Cost: $200 per person
Venue: Four Points Auckland, 396 Queen Street, Auckland
This workshop, run by staff from Macquarie University, is designed to complement existing education and training, supporting clinicians who are interested in further developing their skills in lower limb oedema management.
• A great opportunity to build practical, hands-on capability in compression bandaging within a structured and supportive learning environment.
• Delivered by qualified ALERT trainers, ensuring evidence-informed education aligned with best practice.
• Participants can gain valuable CPD hours, contributing to ongoing professional development requirements.
• Provides exposure to real-world application techniques that can support confidence in day-to-day clinical practice.
