NZWCS Research Grants
The New Zealand Wound Care Society (NZWCS) Research Grant has been established to support New Zealand-based research into any area that is related to wounds, wound healing or wound management (including prevention). While the Society recognises the importance of injury prevention, projects focused on general injury prevention outside clinical settings fall outside the scope of this funding.
The NZWCS will award one or more grants up to a maximum budget of $5,000 (including GST).
The number and value of the awards that are made will depend on the quality of the applications that are received. These grants are likely to be used as seeding funds, which will enable researchers to gain preliminary information that can be used to prepare applications for large-scale grants from different funding bodies.
Applications
Online applications open on 1 October and close on 30 November. Applicants must read the Instructions and Guidelines for Research Grant (below box) before starting the online application.
Only applications using the online application form will be considered. Supporting documents are to be emailed the same day. Supporting documents must be submitted as an attachment, either MS Word or PDF, in a single file.
